Connecticut Valley Winery does it again. This year Connecticut Valley Winery topped its 2009 win of 10 medals by being awarded a total of 17 medals in the 2010 Big E Northeast Gold Wine competition. Our Orange Vidal proudly took a Gold. In May, award-winning Black Bear also received the distinction of being chosen as one of the featured wines at the ESE Foundation’s annual fundraising event, “A Vintner’s Harvest.” Vineyard & Winery Management Magazine’s Grand Harvest Awards in California recognized Connecticut Valley Winery again this year with medals in their 2010 competition. Orange Vidal, Black Bear and Chianti joined previous award winners Raspberry Delight, Black Tie Cabernet Franc, Dolce Vita and Chardonel. Black Tie Cabernet, Chianti, and Orange Vidal also were awarded medals in the 2009 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition.
